Saving and protecting our waterways and the threat to our waterways posed by funding cuts is a great concern to the Leicestershire Branch of the IWA.

Ongoing funding is critical if we are to not only save the waterways for today, but for future generation too. 

To help us with this very special commemorative event,  we need additional funds.  

Any contribution, however small will help us to keep our waterways open and available to everyone to enjoy.

The IWA are the only national charity that campaigns locally and nationally for all the country’s canals and river navigations. This includes events like  this.

The IWA provide leadership, resources and practical support for the waterway restoration sector.

We also lobby parliament, champion regeneration, run events, and fight to improve the waterways for all legitimate users’.
